Gusset XD 1-Er Single Spd Conversion
The XD 1-ER has been developed from our vision that riders with XD freehubs may want to go single speed without buying a new freehub. We entered the single speed market early and we know that riders still look for simple and elegant solutions to keep their bikes working in all conditions.
Utilising the splines and threaded XD freehub body our XD 1-ER kit is simple to fit and provides a 49 or 51mm chain line depending on the orientation of the suppled 3mm spacer. Going single speed on a modern SRAM equipped bike has never been so easy.
Sprocket teeth are designed for a narrow 3/32" 9-speed chain, although wider, 1/8" single speed chains can also be successfully used.
Fitting a new chain is recommended, as a pre-used chain will likely be worn and may not mesh well with the fresh, unworn sprocket.
This kit is supplied with:
- 16t 5/64'' cog
- Steel Splined Flat Sided Spacer
- Threaded Cog Carrier
- 3mm Cog Spacer
- 6x T25 Torx bolts
SRAM XD compatible only.
17/18/19/20/22T cogs available separately, listed as Disc Mount Fixed Cogs.
